Karen Maish is a Hollywood veteran with more experience than a seasoned avocado. As the founder of Going Vegan TV, Karen is also a passionate animal rights advocate and has been a dedicated vegan for 12 years (she's got more willpower a toddler in a candy store). With an MBA in Finance, Karen has held various high-level roles in corporate finance and corporate acquisition financing at several major Hollywood studios. Currently, Karen is overseeing lighting and grip operations at Sunset Studios in Los Angeles, where she works with major streaming companies, networks, and filmmakers of major Hollywood productions.
Jack Tucker, ACE, is a highly accomplished editor, producer, director, and sound editor with an impressive list of credits to his name. He has worked on films with some of the biggest names in Hollywood and has received numerous accolades for his work, including an nomination and the Robert Wise Award for Promoting the Art and Craft of Film Editing. Mr. Tucker is also a respected industry leader, having founded CinemaEditor Magazine and served as an officer of the American Cinema Editors. He has lectured at several universities and film programs, including CSULB Ohio University, and UCLA.
Silke Matzpohl is a talented German composer known for her work popular films such as The Rum Diary, Love Happens, and When in Rome. She started playing piano at a young age and quickly became passionate about music. After winning several awards, she received a scholarship at the prestigious University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich. Silke's passion for film led her to compose film scores, and she has received several awards for her work, including the Film TV Music Award for "Outstanding Female Composer". She is considered one of the most promising new composers in Hollywood.
Sally Maish is a highly skilled and versatile musician who was born in England in 1970, spending her formative years in the United States and Switzerland. Sally's diverse upbringing has allowed her to feel equally at home in both classical and popular music genres. She believes that the essence of what people need to express through music differs little among genres and enjoys the challenge of writing in various styles.
In 1996, Sally co-founded the rock trio Twelfth House with Mike Pleska, who was famous for his work in the Czech 60's rock scene. The band played the vibrant Chicago underground club circuit of the late 90's, showcasing Sally's versatility as a musician.
Sally holds a B.A. in Music from the University of Chicago, where she graduated with honors.
